After reading the first couple of pages on posture
and the Egoscue Method, you may well be interested
in learning more without necessarily wishing to come
and see me on an individual basis.
Presentations are a great way to get yourself and
your friends, colleagues, family, employees etc
better informed on what it's all about, how it affects
us all, how you can benefit and what to do to take it
further.
Fun And Informative!
I'm often asked to give talks to different groups and
they are always fun yet informative. Most
importantly, they are designed to be interactive...
...It's great to have all the information and theory
side of it, but the real benefit comes when you can
feel the changes within your own body.
Expect to be doing a few exercises and expect to
have your posture changed in a short space of time!
A Presentation At A Festival, Summer 2005

The exercise that the people in
the picture on the left are doing
is called the Standing Overhead
Extension.
This is just one in a series of
exercises I have people do to
get them to feel the change in
their posture.
How Much Do You Charge
For Presentations?
This depends on a few factors:
- Where the presentation is
- Who the presentation is for, e.g. A large
corporate firm, a Yoga class that meets once a
week etc
- How long you want the presentation to be
Please contact me either by phone or email to
discuss your needs and requirements.
My Guarantee
If you decide to invite me to give a presentation on
posture and The Egoscue Method, I am confident
that you will have fun, enjoy it and most
importantly, learn...
...Learn about your body, how and why you have
any of the pain that you have and how you can
resolve to fix it.
I am so confident of this that if you aren't
delighted with the event, just ask and I'll refund
every penny.
What You Will Need
For the presentation to be the most effective, it will
ideally be done in a large room or a hall. Some of the
exercises require more space than others for
everyone to be able to spread out.
I also recommend that everyone attending wears
loose comfortable clothing. Tracksuit trousers/shorts
and a t-shirt are ideal. A loose fitting warm jumper is
handy to have as well.
Any Volunteers?!
Depending on how much time we have and how
many people are present, I sometimes ask for a
volunteer to give a posture assessment to. This
posture assessment would normally cost £25, so
that in itself makes it well worth having! But the
money saving aspect aside, it's extremely worth
having anyway...
...I've given many posture assessments to many
different types of people, some of whom were in pain
and some that weren't. Regardless of whether they
were or not, the reaction is pretty much universal,
"oh my God, I thought I had good posture".
Whoever steps up for this free assessment will need
to be wearing a pair of shorts, and if it's a female,
she will also need a sports bra. That's the most
preferable item of clothing as it allows us to see
more of your body, which after all is what we're
assessing!
If no sports bra is available or if you would prefer to
retain more of your modesty, a vest top or even a
regular t-shirt is fine.
