I originally started out in the healthcare profession
as a massage therapist, which I got into almost by
accident.


A few years previous to becoming a massage
therapist, I had been in pain with a herniated disc in
my lower back.


Like many people, I tried all sorts of therapies to sort
the problem. Many offered some form of relief but
none of them ever resolved the problem fully. So I
did what so many people do when in this situation - I
limited what I did with my life and resigned myself to
the fact that I would have to live with it for the rest
of my life!


Ironically, the more I massaged, the more pain I was
in. Lower back pain soon became upper back pain,
neck pain and shoulder pain.


I continued to visit chiropractors and massage
therapists when the pain got too bad to find some
relief, if only temporary.


One of these chiropractors recommended that I read
a book called
Pain Free by a guy called Pete
Egoscue. As the cliché goes, this book changed my
life!


Not long after reading it and implementing the
exercises into my daily life, I enrolled with Egoscue
University and studied to become an Egoscue
Certified Postural Alignment Specialist.


This then enabled me to help my existing and new
clients to take control of their own health and fix
their own ailments…
at the root cause level and
not at the symptomatic level.
